Your Right to Data Deletion

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to request deletion of your personal data held by Relayra Solutions.

Who Can Request Deletion

• Schools: Authorized administrators may request deletion of their school's account and all associated data
• Parents: Parents may request deletion of their child's data and their own contact information
• Teachers/Staff: May request deletion of their personal account data

How to Request Deletion

Include the following information:

For Schools

• School name
• Administrator name and designation
• Registered email address
• Reason for deletion (optional)

For Parents

• Your full name
• Your child's name and school name
• Your registered WhatsApp number
• Reason for deletion (optional)

For Staff

• Your full name
• School where you work
• Your registered email address

Verification

To protect your data, we will verify your identity before processing the request. Verification may involve:

• Confirming via your registered email or WhatsApp number
• Cross-checking with school administration (for parent requests)
• A short security questionnaire

Timeline

We will process your request within 30 days of receiving complete information, as required by the DPDP Act.

You will receive:

1. Confirmation email within 48 hours of receiving your request
2. Verification request within 7 days
3. Final confirmation of deletion once complete

What Will Be Deleted

Upon a verified request, we will delete:

• Personal contact information (name, phone, email)
• Account credentials and settings
• Message history (subject to legal retention)
• Communication preferences

What Cannot Be Deleted (Legal Retention)

Some data must be retained even after deletion requests:

• Financial records: Retained for 7 years under Indian tax law
• Legal compliance records: Retained as required by regulatory bodies
• Backup archives: May persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before automatic purge
• Anonymized analytics: Aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained

Retained data is access-restricted and used only for legal compliance.

Opt Out of WhatsApp Messages

If you only want to stop receiving WhatsApp messages (without full account deletion):

You may also contact your school directly to opt out.

Grievance Redressal

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your deletion request, you may:
